Yes, we’re back! Wow, ten years goes by so quickly. It’s hard to believe it has been a decade since we embarked on our year-long #globalfieldtrip. Although our blog has been quiet… we have still been travelling along on some neat adventures… just not in a single solid block like we did in 2014-2015.
Travel has been more of a challenge as we balanced work and school schedules. We could no longer spontaneously decide to stay in one place longer, or change our itinerary on a whim. We have still made it work and are excited to share some of our stories and photos with you.
Here’s a very quick update about the family….

- Mikhaila, Graduated from Western University, Major in Biology, Minor in Computer Science – moving into the workforce!
- Zoe, 3rd Year at University of Waterloo, Major in Health Sciences, Specialization in Health Informatics – co-op has been an incredible experience!
We have visited:
- All seven continents
- All 7 wonders of the world (based on this list)
- Both North and South Polar Regions
This year, in 2024, we decided to commit to catching up on our travel blog writing and share what we have been doing over the years. Be prepared for stories highlighting some COVID holidays close to home in Canada, as well as some hard core adventure in the Amazon, and this year – Antarctica!
