A Super time in Southeast Asia!

Our Super Southeast Asia Global Fieldtrip night was another fantastic success!  We had about 40 guests who came out to share our adventures…the interesting thing was that again, it was a different mix of people.  We love sharing and making new friends!

Some of our most interesting photos were taken in this part of the world, as we learned about Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia.

Each month the food gets better and better!  This month, Mikhaila, Zoe and Katina outdid themselves preparing a feast with representative dishes from Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

The biggest hit was the “fresh roll” station, a delicious DIY (Do It Yourself) experiment that worked out really well based on the comments we heard!  Check out Zoe’s time lapse video of our guests enjoying this fun food station!

Along with our Fresh Spring Rolls, we made Pad Thai, Chicken Amok, Green Papaya Salad, Mango Salad..and a delicious sticky rice with mango!

We always love to share our stories, and here’s Zoe doing just that as she shares her learning about Apsara dancing from Cambodia!

As always, the kids add a special energy to the evening…

Having a great time with friends!

…especially when eating bugs (the sugar kind) is involved!

Yummy bugs!

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back next month!  Stay tuned for more info!

    1. Hello Iniyal!

We had a fantastic time…hopefully you and your family will be able to make it to our next session! We had a lot of amazing questions from the kids – it’s good to see that they’re learning something along the way.

The food was absolutely amazing!! Have loved all the other nights, but the south east Asia dishes were the best to date!! Can’t wait to see all the recipes in the cookbook.

    1. Hi Gail,

Glad you enjoyed the “samples”! We love cooking in the Southeast Asian style, so maybe our love for the food came through in the final results!
