German Trifle!

,

While we were staying at Uncle Soto and Tante Gisela’s house, we made our German dessert with Tante Gisela and our cousin Sophia. Trifle is actually English, but we figured since we were using German ingredients and made it in Germany, it was German!

    1. Hi Baba,

Now you have recipes for 2 types of trifle! Can’t wait to try this recipe made by you next year!

  2. Hi, Mikhaila, this recipe looks delicious and I probably will make it with our cherries. Just one question: where do I get “Quark” here 🙂 . . . . I know, I know, it’s smooth cottage cheese, kind off, but I haven’t seen the word “Quark” for a long time, so – just kidding, and I also know, that I could make it too. Have a great weekend, XOXO”s

    1. Hello Oma,

That’s so cool that you can make your own quark and use your own cherries. It is a really fun and simple recipe to make, not to mention delicious! 🙂

  3. Hi Mikhaila,
I had to look up the word Quark, as I had never heard of it! Your trifle looks and I am sure tastes, delicious. The plums add a lovely colour too. With Zoe’s leek soup, I am all set for another great dinner! Love Teta Doreen xoxox

    1. Hi Teta Doreen,

I had never heard of quark either, but it tastes really good in the trifle! The plums can be replaced with any fruit. Hope you have a nice dinner! 🙂
